Data protection
The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.
The use of our website is generally possible without disclosing personal data. Where personal data (e.g., name, address, or email address) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis. Such data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data from unauthorized access is not possible.
Collection and storage of personal data (server log files)
When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server hosting our website. This information is temporarily stored in log files. The following information is collected automatically and stored until deletion:
- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the retrieved file
- Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Browser used and, if applicable, your operating system and the name of your access provider
This data is processed to ensure a smooth connection, a comfortable user experience, system security and stability, and other administrative purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In no case do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about your person.
Google Analytics
For the purpose of designing and continuously optimising our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web-analysis service provided by Google Inc. Pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies are used. Information generated by the cookie (browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, anonymised IP address, time of request) is transmitted to a Google server and used to evaluate website usage and compile reports.
IP addresses are anonymised (IP masking) so that assignment is not possible. You can prevent the installation of cookies via your browser settings, and prevent collection by installing the Google opt-out browser add-on. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA (provider: Google Inc.) to verify whether input on our website is made by a human or an automated program. reCAPTCHA analyses visitor behaviour based on various characteristics (e.g. IP address, duration of visit, mouse movements) and transmits the collected data to Google. Data processing is performed under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the operator has a legitimate interest in protecting the site from abusive automated access and spam.
Contact via email
When you contact us via email, the data you provide (such as your email address and, if applicable, your name and telephone number) is stored for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. The data is deleted once it is no longer necessary, or processed in a restricted manner if statutory retention periods apply. Processing is carried out under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent.
Sharing of personal data
For processing your inquiry, it may be necessary for us to forward your personal data to external service providers acting exclusively on our behalf. We require all such providers to process your data strictly in accordance with our instructions, this privacy policy, and applicable law. We do not sell your personal data. We only share personal data with third parties if:
- you have given explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR),
- sharing is necessary for legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and no overriding interest exists,
- there is a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or
- it is necessary for processing contractual relationships (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Use of web fonts
On these web pages, external fonts (Google Fonts) provided by Google Inc. are used. Integration is executed via a server call (typically to a Google server in the USA), transmitting information about the visited page to Google. The IP address of your browser is stored by Google. Please refer to Google\u2019s privacy policy for further details.
Use of OpenStreetMap
We use the mapping service OpenStreetMap (OSM), provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), based in the United Kingdom. When you visit a page that includes OpenStreetMap, your IP address and other usage information may be transmitted to the OSMF, which may also store cookies or similar technologies. This is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in presenting our offers attractively and helping identify locations mentioned on our website.
Rights of data subjects
You have the right, under the GDPR, to:
- request information about the personal data we process (Art. 15);
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16);
- request deletion of your personal data (Art. 17), subject to legal exceptions;
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format or have it transferred (Art. 20);
- withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3));
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).
Right to object
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to processing under Art. 21 GDPR where circumstances related to your situation indicate that such processing is objectionable, or where the objection is aimed at direct advertising (in which case a general right of objection exists without justification). To exercise this right, please contact us using the details above.
Data security (SSL encryption)
To protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse, we have implemented extensive technical and organisational measures, regularly reviewed and updated. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser (typically 256-bit). A securely transmitted page is indicated by the closed padlock icon in your browser.
Advertising objection
The use of contact details published under imprint requirements to send unsolicited advertising or promotional material is hereby objected to. The operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
Policy updates
This privacy policy is current as of April 2025 and is subject to updates.
