Data protection

Google Analytics

Information generated by the cookie (browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, anonymised IP address, time of request) is transmitted to a Google server and used to evaluate website usage and compile reports.

IP addresses are anonymised (IP masking) so that assignment is not possible. You can prevent the installation of cookies via your browser settings, and prevent collection by installing the Google opt-out browser add-on. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA (provider: Google Inc.) to verify whether input on our website is made by a human or an automated program. reCAPTCHA analyses visitor behaviour based on various characteristics (e.g. IP address, duration of visit, mouse movements) and transmits the collected data to Google. Data processing is performed under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the operator has a legitimate interest in protecting the site from abusive automated access and spam.
