About Sabotage Watch

Sabotage Watch documents sabotage incidents using open-source intelligence (OSINT) to raise public awareness about potential threats posed by adversaries engaging in hybrid warfare against Western nations and their allies. We provide verified, accessible information through an interactive map, structured data and concise reporting.


About the role

As a Content & Communications Editor, you will turn verified OSINT findings into short, accessible articles and social-media updates. You will maintain the Sabotage Watch blog, summarise incidents into concise briefs, and prepare content for automated publishing workflows using n8n. This role bridges open-source intelligence and public communication.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Sabotage Watch blog.
  • Write concise, well-sourced reports summarising newly verified incidents.
  • Coordinate with OSINT analysts to ensure factual accuracy and consistency.
  • Adapt key findings into short-form content for LinkedIn and Bluesky.
  • Integrate posts into automated publishing pipelines using n8n.

Requirements

  • Excellent English writing and editing skills with attention to factual clarity.
  • Familiarity with digital journalism, OSINT or strategic communications.
  • Basic understanding of Markdown and Astro content structures.
  • Experience or strong interest in workflow automation with n8n.
  • Understanding of social-media publishing logic (scheduling, formatting, tags).
  • Interest in uncovering hybrid warfare, disinformation and other threats to Western democracies.

Nice to have

  • Experience in newsroom workflows or content-automation systems.
  • Basic familiarity with JSON and API integration.
  • Understanding of SEO and metadata optimisation for public reporting platforms.
