About Sabotage Watch
Sabotage Watch documents sabotage incidents using open-source intelligence (OSINT) to raise public awareness about potential threats posed by adversaries engaging in hybrid warfare against Western nations and their allies. Our database and visual platform compile verified incidents to help researchers, journalists, and the public understand patterns of hybrid operations across all domains.
About the role
As an OSINT Analyst, you will help investigate and verify suspected hybrid and sabotage incidents worldwide. Your work will support our public dataset, strengthen situational awareness, and contribute to evidence-based and transparent reporting on hybrid threats.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, collect, and verify open-source data related to sabotage and hybrid incidents.
- Structure verified data in our database.
- Cross-reference coordinates and timelines using Leaflet or QGIS.
- Summarize findings in clear, concise English with transparent sourcing.
- Assist with automation and enrichment workflows via n8n.
Requirements
- Understanding of OSINT verification techniques and data reliability assessment.
- Analytical mindset and strong written English (C1+).
- Technical familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, PostgreSQL, Leaflet, QGIS, and n8n.
- Interest in uncovering hybrid warfare, disinformation, and other threats to Western democracies.
Nice to have
- Experience with Astro or React for improving data visualization components.
- Background in investigative journalism, threat intelligence, or international relations.
